Patrick is a lifelong resident of Lee, graduating from Lee High School in 1993 and graduating Cum Laude from Roger Williams University in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a minor in Finance. Upon graduation Pat returned to Lee where he continues to live and spent 20 years working as CFO for Winstanley Partners, a full-service advertising and marketing company and its sister company, Lenox Softworks a web and software development company. In 2008, to help his father manage his expanding tax business, Pat began preparing tax returns from February to April on nights and weekends. Upon the closure of Winstanley Partners and Lenox Softworks in 2017, Pat joined his father full time doing tax preparations and bookkeeping and opened and acts as President at a marketing and web development company called Constructique, Inc. in space shared with tax business on Main St. in Lee.

Frank was also a lifelong resident of Lee, graduating from Lee High School in 1957 and joining the Marines for which he was a reservist with until 1963. In 1960 and 1961, Frank attended the Hartford School of Insurance in Hartford, CT. In 1961, he joined his father (Frank P.) at the Frank P. Consolati Insurance Agency that he opened in 1945. Once he started working at the insurance agency, Frank started off by preparing income taxes for Lee’s largely illiterate Italian quarry worker population. He spent every day doing what he loved, visiting with old friends while he does their taxes.

Carol Consolati grew up in Lenox as Carol Flynn and graduated from Lenox High in 1957. She then attended St. Luke’s Hospital in Pittsfield MA from 1957 to 1960 where she became a Registered Nurse. Carol worked as a RN from 1960 to 1963 when she had her first or four boys. She continued to be a stay at home mom until 1985 when she started helping with taxes in order to put Frank and her sons through college. She continues to do so to this day, correcting Frank and Pat’s mistakes and making sure that all the paperwork gets filled out correctly and that people pay their bills.

Megan is the latest in a long line of 4th generation Consolatis working for the tax business while they attend Lee High School. Her duties include checking our data entry, electronically filing taxes, and filing the endless piles of paperwork that the tax business generates.

Business can be personal and that’s something my Dad always impressed upon me. I have worked with him for so long, and though fully grateful for all the time together, you tend to feel you took simple things for granted. Walking down and asking about what happened with the last vendor or the best way to reach a certain client. He never really retired because he loved what he did and loved being a part of your life.
I miss my mentor and my best friend terribly. I know he is missed by all of you and want to use this space to thank everyone that’s been so kind to my family. I’m very grateful to all of you. -Pat Consolati
